How do you make digital booking appealing to highly-tactile and creative professionals?

Timely

Services

Brand, product marketing, experiential

Timely is an appointment booking platform for the beauty and wellbeing industries. The cloud-based software puts salon owners in the driving seat to control their end-to-end client experience through a number of powerful features such as TimelyPay, marketing tools and digital consultations.

The challenge

Position the brand so that it better appeals to its beauty and wellness vertical, both digitally and in-person.

Timely’s product had evolved from a generic SAAS platform operating in the booking space to exclusively catering to salon, wellness and beauty businesses.

The solution

Timely’s customers are highly-tactile and engaged with their trade. Find ways to make Timely’s digital touchpoints equally tactile.

Tools of the trade

By their nature, a lot of SAAS products are digital, we focussed on building a brand around assets that are highly textural, highlighting and aligning Timely with the tools that salon professionals are already using. Instead of abstract illustrations, we used real photography as the base for brand assets, heroing customers as the face of the business.

Real people, real experiences

Timely’s greatest potential competitive moat is its community. Built through professional and engaging thought leadership, the brand came to life in-person, with events spaces designed to be highly-functional, but developed around thematic concepts such as awards shows or secret gardens that showcased Timely’s product integrations and ecosystem.
